Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Spring in the air and in the Pony's steps

Mild weather kept the ski trails from being at their very best, but our guests this weekend enjoyed themselves hiking, snowshoeing, and exploring along the shoreline of the lake. Justine, not quite 3, found herself enchanted by the miniature 'geysers' (as she called them) formed by the many little springs bubbling up along the shore.
And up at the stable, we seemed to have a complete collection of little ladies, who had a blast with the chickens, Achmed the Cat, Holly the poodle, and the pony. Squeegee is such an obliging little soul, and Judy was a trooper, leading the kids up and down the driveway. Again. And again. And again. Hannah -- seen in this picture -- had to be almost pried off her pony! She was very good, though, about letting the other girls have a turn!
We're sure the smiles were still firmly on all their faces when they finally went to bed!
