Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Fundraising Dinner: We need your help

Most folks in the community up here know Chris and Marcy Hill. This great young couple, with three small children, always find time to put-back into the community -- Marcy runs the Hallowe'en Party at the Community Centre, as well as the TD Summer Reading program at the Library, and we could fill an entire blog with what they do.

Except that Chris has recently been diagnosed with cancer. He is currently undergoing a very aggressive therapy at Princess Margaret's Hospital in Toronto.

With both Chris and Marcy being self-employed, their finances are being stretched beyond all reason. Everywhere you go these days in Dwight, you'll find Donation jars collecting for them. The Royal Bank in Huntsville has opened a donation account to receive money on their behalf.

And on May 22, the restuarant on Hwy 60, Muskoka on the Rocks, is holding a fundraising dinner.

We're asking for your help for this young family, who have been caught up in a medical storm no-one should ever have to face.
