Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Northart's New Dwight Gallery Grand Opening

There's a new gallery in Dwight, and if you are interested in art, you definitely need to stop by and check it out. This is a move for Ron, from his Spruce Bog Studio in Dwight to a larger, more central gallery. You can check out his portfolio of work still on his webpage, while the new pages for Ron Murdoch's Northart Gallery are being constructed.

Conveniently located for those who like art and antiques in close proximity, the Gallery is at the back of the Hero's Antiques store, next door to Jay Richardson's Royal LePage office, and handily adjacent to the Coffee Shop across the street.

The new Gallery is all set for their Grand Opening, June 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. And how convenient is this? Doors Open Lake of Bays is on the same day, June 13, and the Silent Auction for Doors Open hosted at the Dwight Library closes at 4 p.m. on June 13th. You can check out the Doors Open tour, zip to the library to place your final bids, and stop at Ron's gallery and the Antique store all en route! (and even more cool, Ron has generously donated one of his paintings to the Silent Auction! Thanks very much, Ron!)
