Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Lions, and Tigers and Napster, OH MY!

Graham's in Vet College at Guelph, so when he's here, all our animals take a particular interest in chatting to him. He spent his summer work-term with Vets Without Borders in Thailand and Vietnam -- working at different venues, including working with street dogs in Thailand, in areas still not recovered from the tsunami.
And, his favourite posting, he worked at an Elephant Rescue facility. With not just big gray elephants, but little cuddly tiger cubs. (this is the before picture -- once they are all grown up, and about 600 lbs., you don't pick them up quite the same way.

Napster took one look at the tiger cub, and figured he could do better. All he's lacking are the stripes!

Next year, Graham needs to find a vet in mixed practice over here -- large animals as well as small animals, but not necessarily lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Mixed practices are getting harder to find, as everyone specializes, but if you have any leads, email us, or post a comment here, and we'll pass the information on to Graham! (after Napster 'vets' the information, naturally)
