With Winter Carnivals, Puddle Jumpers at Dorset, and the approaching Ontario Winter Games, there's so much to see and do up here in North Muskoka that we don't understand why everybody isn't here.

It's a deal, and it's running through the rest of the winter and the spring. Oh yes, Spring, when city folk hide indoors in fear and trembling that they might meet a mosquito. This overlooks of course the obvious fact that the West Nile vector mosquito lives in cities,is active in late summer early autumn, and doesn't like to come out into the north country either, but let us not dwell on that. What most folk don't realize is that there are no flies up here until the trees leaf out.
A simple little fact that provides us with spectacular weather in late April and early May that is heaven for hikers, magnificent for moose watchers, perfect for picnics, and bodacious for birdwatchers. And our little special deal will still be up and on offer.

There's wonderful winter -- it's just not findable now south of Hwy 7, so if you want your families to experience the best the winter months have to offer in this country, you should be here too. Don't leave your kids with the misconception that winter is Canada is nothing more than slush and dirty ice on sidewalks -- come to where the fun is.
