Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Seasons. Change.

It's hard to believe that less than a month ago we had a blizzard. Monika sent us this photo -- she snapped it in Algonquin Park while staying with us in Bondi. (That free Park Pass that is included in all our reservations certainly gets a good workout!)

This female moose, casually toughing out the weather on the edge of the road, didn't care that it was snowing. Neither did Monika's family, who had a moose of a time (can't say whale of a time... no whales in Bondi Bay!)

Here we are, not even four weeks on, and the lake is 23 degrees, everything is blooming, the birds are back. It's HOT.
How boring to live where the weather is the same day after day! We certainly don't have that problem!
So let's raise a toast to summer, and all the fun that goes with that season, while remembering to cheer on the other seasons, remarkable for their own beauty and specialities! Here's to seasons! Here's to change! Here's to the Great Outdoors!
