Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Hot Enough for Ya?

The lake is now 80 degrees Fahrenheit. That's 26.6666 Celsius.

However you measure it, that's just an open invitation to get to the beach and jump in.

Shade trees, of which we have many, can drop the air temperature by as much as 20 degrees. Sitting under the willow by the lake, in the breeze, you'd never know there was a heatwave. It's glorious.

And we still have vacancies... go figure. Achmed made his own catly comment on the heat. It's hard to believe he can elongate himself this much, but he can, and it lets him get the most air movement for cooling.

When it comes to coping with the heat, cats just know...
