Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Harvest Who-Dun-Its

Every year, Carol manages to successfully grow produce that we are told 'just won't grow' up here.

This year, the conditions were not optimal for some of the more hardy veggies -- the beans, for instance, hated the spring weather. She planted them three times...   couldn't even find remnants of the earlier plantings... and then when they did deign to spring up out of the ground they grew within a tangle of morning glories.  Very lovely, but we have no idea how they got there.  Did someone sneak out late at night, dig up the beans and plant morning glories?

Beans notwithstanding,oOver in the other corner of the garden, a watermelon vine very happily took on the climate and produced quite impressive fruit.  Now, we are told that watermelon don't like to grow in Muskoka...   but Carol has proved that wrong!
