Fall Colours

The trees weren't the only splashes of colour this past weekend.

The Waterloo Wellington Canoe Club was here for their fall weekend. A little unclement weather didn't discourage any of them -- in the rain (described as "warm" by several of them) on Saturday, they paddled the Big East all the way to Bracebridge.

And we bow down before the ladies who were in the lake first thing on Sunday morning -- when the weather might not be well described as 'warm'.

It's getting to be that time of year again!

We got some of the same weather on Saturday night here in Ottawa for Nuit Blanche, but thousands of people came out regardless...

Napster Art

We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available.
