Bondi Resort Blog

Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Heading out and Coming Home

Our ski and snowshoe trails -- and toboggan hill -- have been busy this past month.

We have been blessed to be hosts to several groups of Outdoor Enthusiasts -- we are a great base for groups like this.  Photo Clubs, Ski, Nature, Seniors, Family Gatherings... we are delighted to welcome them all.

The LODGE works very well indeed for groups, being able to accommodate up to 18 people in one unit.  Add in some extra cottages and we've got lots
of room for even bigger groups!

With 20 km. of groomed nordic ski trails for all levels of challenge, and even more space to go snowshoeing, there's no need to ever leave the property . After all, we have 600 acres of wilderness at the resort, with lots of wildlife sharing
out world.

Not that there aren't great things to do in the area -- this week alone, some of our guests have been to Arrowhead Provincial Park almost every morning to clock up some distance on the unique and fantastic Skating Trail.   There are also excellent ski trails at Arrowhead, and Algonquin Park... and at the Friends of the Frost.  In short, there's no shortage :)

Our toboggan hill has also been getting a good workout.

One of the best things about being here is that you simply step out of the door and you are there. No need to get in a car, if the kids are getting cold or tired, you are just steps back to a warm fireplace.  So come on over...

Whether heading out for a day on the trails, or coming home for something delicious to eat, you are always in great company.
