Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.

Fork in the Road meets Bondi

Terry cooking up a storm!

I was in Baysville last week, and dropped into one of our favourite places -- Fork in the Road, and Humble Pie Bakery.

If you are looking for a little tasty something to take outside for a picnic, perhaps by the Dam, or to bring back to the cottage, this is a 'must stop.'

The fact that is across the road from the Lake of Bays Brewery doesn't hurt -- the mash from the brewery finds its way into some of these delectable sausages!

A glance at the menu board made us smile -- Terry is featuring the BONDI 'WHO YA CALLING CHICKEN SAMMICH'  (not made from our chickens, mind you, but named in their honour. Terry is a Bondi fan) Well, that made my lunch decision easy!

I also scooped up some of his fabulous artisan-crafted and legendary sausages for the BBQ. Which puts me on a more equal footing with the guests here, who seem to have a real 'thing' for the Fork in the Road sausages!

The ever lovely Michaela was at the till, and brought another smile.

Meanwhile, right there on the other side of the room, the buttertarts and goodies from Humble Pie satisfy any sweet tooth!

If you are in Baysville, be sure to stop in and say hello!   And to scoop up some tasty treats!
