Come on into our Blog for a look at the wonderful world we've got to share! With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart. www.bondi-village-resort.com
Pics from the marathon swim this morning. Four from the island, intrepid and wonderful, including Arlene, who will be 70 this September... and four more to the Point and Back...
Walked into Shoppers Drugmart in Huntsville and was greeted by long time and fabulous Bondi "kid". Hannah Dalgarno embarked on a modelling career last year. She's doing well! Hannah, you are amazing! It is amazing watching our 'kids' spread their wings. #hannahdalgarnoisthebest
sandpile jumping. Need we say more? It is also popular for sandcastle building, water systems creation, rolling down... and so many more creative ideas.
my favourite photo from last week's marathon swim. Shelley, gliding back from the island, looks like she is swimming through clouds. What a perfect way to start any day.
Dave got a little too close for comfort to the barn swallow nest in the garage while collecting some tools. Mom Swallow was less than impressed, and told him quite clearly he needed to get away. He was able to snap some great photos of the swallow against the sky. And he took her advice... leave the nestlings be!!! These birds are master-fliers, and each one eats up to 700 mosquitoes a day.
Unicorns and ponies and lots of happy little children. Wednesday fun at Bondi village resort . We think she must be a unicorn... after all, she has a lavender mane and tail...
The end of a very busy morning taking our guests tubing. Every Wednesday, from ten till noon, we provide free tube rides to all our guests, big and small!

Scenes from the William/Hadden party last week. 55 years and three generations It was a great day for us when Evelyn Hadden "found" Bondi so many years ago. We have become true family and look forward with great pleasure to their summer visit
Don't overlook our specials for COUPLES! As well as families and groups, we offer great deals for couples looking to just get away.

Changing the Season
Winter loosens its grip in March. Warm days, crisp nights combine to make magic. Whether you ski/snowshoe or just need a place to breathe, we've got it.
As winter gives way to Spring the moose come out in Algonquin, the flowers come out in the woods, the birds return.
And then it's summer. Have you booked your cottage yet? Enjoy an authentic Canadian cottage experience with us.

Napster
Napster Art
We are very proud of Napster, our tail-painting cat, who uses his lovely artwork to raise money for charities. This lovely little creature passed away July 2015, but left a huge legacy, having raised over $12,000 for various charities through the sale of his artwork. That artwork, through prints and notecards, is still available. Click here to visit Napster's Blog and visit the gallery of his tail-paintings.
Now sold around the world, he was honoured to have his artwork sold around the globe -- he even has a print with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
